Ingredient List

Bees Wax

Our Lip Balm uses our highest grade Bees wax, harvested from our Bees living on our property in the South of Canberra. Lower grade wax is used for our knife and surf wax. The wax can vary in colour depending on what the bees are feeding on and the age of the wax

Apricot Oil

Apricot oil is rich in Oleic and linoleic acids, both are essential unsaturated fatty acids. They are effective in reducing cholesterol levels and can improve cardiovascular health.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is the oil extracted from the Shea nut. It has a lower melting temperature than Bees wax, perfecting the proportions gives our Lip Balms their gorgeous silky texture. It is an effective moisturiser and can provide some sun protection.

Jojoba Oil

It is the oil extracted from the Simmondsia chinensis plant from Central America. It’s an oil commonly used in cosmetics and has moisturising properties. It was originally developed as a replacement to whale oil in cosmetics.

Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is high in Vitamins E and K, is commonly used in food preparation and helps control the consistency of the Lip Balm.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant that can help protect your skin from damage from reactive chemicals in the environment around you. It is rapidly absorbed into your skin and is very common in cosmetics.
