Lip balm, your way…
Florapod started with a chance acquisition of a bee hive from a friend or ours. Our founder Corin always found it difficult to find lip balm products that didn’t have a very strong smell, so she decided to make her own, with our home grown wax. After much experimentation and innovation she came up with our silky smooth recipe that is gentle on sensitive noses.
Along with a gentle smell, Corin developed a totally new refillable lib balm canister. We know you all have your favorite lip balm or lipstick canisters, that you just love, but when you have used it all it sits in a drawer or goes into the bin. With our refillable canisters, you can pick your favorite design, then when it runs out you can order another bullet and continue to use it. Our bullets come in the classic lipstick shape for easy application.
Bullets & Canisters
Bullets and canisters can be ordered separately, so you can mix and match your style, but have the scent you love. At the same time doing your bit for the environment by reducing plastic waste.
Preserving Nature
As the business grows we will use the funds to restore a 200ha property in southern Canberra where our bees can thrive on the native plants of the Canberra region. The property will also become home to dozens of orphaned native animals raised by the Volunteers in ACT Wildlife.
Not only is our product good for the environment, by helping to reduce plastic waste, but the profits will go into preserving a patch of Australian bush and the native animals that call it home.
